I finally am confident enough to post what I do and why I created this blog. This 3 minute video explains it simply and beautifully.
Diabetes, heart attacks, obesity, you hear these words everyday. We think it will never happen to us, but statistics show that by the time you read this, 4 people will have a heart attack or stroke, 117 million people will be diagnosed with diabetes related illness and at least that many are clinically obese. The idea behind TLS was to get you to have a great relationship with food. Real food. There is no such thing as “junk food”. Our bodies were designed to get nutrients from natural food sources. We burn calories by breaking these nutrients down. We generate cell health and cell reproduction from specific vitamins and minerals found in real food, not processed products created for mass consumption.
We live in a constantly moving world. I find it hard to stop and eat properly, but that is no excuse for not caring enough about you and your body by working hard to remind yourself to eat properly.
This is were we can use ‘juicing” and “blending” of multiple types of food to supplement vitamins and other specific nutrients in our daily grind. Some can help with muscle aches, fatigue, digestive issues, headaches and even facilitate weight/fat loss.

1-2 handles of spinach
1 pear (cored)
1 cup of water
1 cup of pineapple (frozen is fine)
Blend and enjoy
2 handfuls of mixed greens (spinach. kale, chard)
red grapes (cup)
1 pear (cored)
1/8 cup of walnuts
1 cup of water
1-2 handfuls of Kale
pitted peach (frozen is fine)
hand full of strawberries
1/8 cup of flax seeds ( found at most grocery stores)
1/8 cup of goji berries
1-2 cups of spring greens
1 cup of pineapple
handful of blueberries
handful of Kale
1 cup pineapple
1/2 cucumber (peeled)
1-2 cups of swiss chard
1 cup pineapple
1 apple (cored)
1 cup of blueberries (frozen is fine)
1/4 cup goji berries (soaked)
Were fruits are listed, flash frozen berries, kale, spinach are fine to substitute. Swiss chard can be found at most stores, usually in a mix of greens in the salad section.
Now these recipes are not by any means cure alls, but you will feel a difference after a few days. That has been my experience. This also doesn’t mean you can run through the drive thru and then guzzle one of these down everyday and be ok. This is a way of introducing the nutrients that you miss in our “processed diets” into your body. Play around with this. Experiment. This will introduce you to a whole new world of fruits and vegetables that you may not know about.
